Fancy Sweatshirt
I have to admit I’m not a huge fan of the sweatshirt trend…until I found this great jacquard sweatshirt at Gap. I love how it’s “fancy” enough to wear to work (thank you casual workplace!). The details of the exposed zipper on the back was a sealed deal. It is so comfortable, too! I was slightly worried about getting the white dirty, but thankfully I didn’t have any spills 🙂
This is on sale right now, too! Gap always has various offers, so you can definitely pick this up for a huge bargain. You’re welcome.
Shirt – Gap (on sale!); Jeans – Hudson (similar); Booties – Frye (one of my favorites!); Necklace – local boutique; Earrings – Cookie Lee (old)
Dressing Up a Sweatshirt
Well, hello there! It’s been forevaaaaaaa! Work life is calming down slightly, so I at least have time to put a blog post together. Hooray!
I have to admit, I haven’t jumped on the sweatshirt bandwagon, but the one from the Altuzarra collection at Target caught my eye. I love the silky fabric on the front. So I guess that wouldn’t classify as a complete sweatshirt, huh? 🙂
I think there are so many possibilities with this shirt. Obviously you could pair it with jeans like I did. But, I did add a statement necklace and booties to dress it up a little for work. The Target site shows it with a black pencil skirt, but I think a black pencil skirt is such a safe choice. What about hunter green? Or a purple? Y’all know I love color!
Do you love my baby pony tail?! I haven’t been able to do this for seven years! I love it short, but being able to pull it back is AHHH-MAZING.
Here are some of my Stella & Dot favorites over the last few years.
