I love how feminine this dress is. I own maybe one other midi dress, so I was hesitant to try this on. But, you always have to step outside of your fashion box sometimes. I love prints, and this print is bold yet neutral. Does that even make any sense?! 🙂 As soon as I tried this on, felt the wonderful fabric, did a couple of twirls, saw the ridiculous sale price, I decided it needed to come home with me. (Y’all know I’m a sucker for a ridic sale!) Even with a midi, I wanted to keep my legs looking long, so I paired it with a neutral shoe.
Happy Monday, everyone!
Sometimes a beautiful shirt just makes me happy. Yep. This one included. I scored this beauty at Annie Griffin’s warehouse sale in Atlanta. I just fell in love with the colors. I’ve added quite a few silk blouses to my closet. They are just easy outfits – just pair it with skinnies and some great jewelry…and walk out the door! Easy peasy.
And yes, I’ve jumped on the Kendra Scott Rayne bandwagon. But this necklace goes with so much! Versatile jewelry is the best kind of jewelry.
Shirt – Annie Griffin (similar, but a lot more than I paid!); Jeans – AG Absolute Legging; Shoes – Isaac Mizrahi (no longer available); Necklace – Kendra Scott; Earrings – Kendra Scott; Bracelet – Henri Bendel; Sunnies – kate spade
I’m not quite what sure what first drew me to this dress – the colors, the reddish piping, the patterns, the silky fabric, the little flutter at the bottom. It’s doesn’t matter because I love it all. It’s just one of those dresses that makes you feel feminine and pretty. Those are good combos in my book. It is all in the details.
