Keeping Neutral

I don’t own a ton of neutral colors, but I’m not sure why. When I picked up this sweater on super sale at J. McLaughlin, it reminded me how pretty neutral colors can be. And I can’t forget to say how soft this sweater is! Being so neutral is also one reason why I love these Kendra Scott pieces – they go with everything!

One Christmas gift I really wanted this year was these Louis Vuitton sunglasses. I look at sunglasses as an investment. I take VERY good care of my glasses and wear them for multiple years. My last LV’s I got were back in 2013 and they look like brand new! Not only do I love the aviator style, but I loved the wrapped LV canvas around the sides. It’s the subtle details that always capture me. They are also very light to wear. There’s nothing worse than buying sunglasses that hurt your nose after wearing them for only an hour.

These Level 99 jeans were in my very first Stitch Fix, and I’ve loved them ever since! The amount of stretch is perfect, and they wash so well!

Bedazzled Button Up

Why yes, I did get asked when I wore this shirt, “Did you buy it that way or did you bust out your Bedazzler gun?” Ha. Ha. Ha. 🙂 I’m a girl and I like bling…and never did I own a Bedazzler. I prefer to buy my clothing pre-bedazzled. Since I have a casual office environment, throwing a button up on with jeans is my go-to if I’m having one of those morning where I am staring at my closet saying I have nothing to wear. We all have those mornings.

I also received these jeans in my first Stitch Fix last year – bootcut Level 99. They have a fantastic amount of stretch. I remember opening my box and thinking there are no way these will fit me right. Sometimes I love when I’m wrong. Their sizing is true, too. I’m typically a size 29 in jeans, which is a size 8. But in Level 99 (I own a couple pair now), they are all a size 6, which is my normal size.

Let’s not forget to add more bling! I know I blogged about this necklace last week…and it’s getting so much wear! Such a good purchase for $24.95.

Neutral Silk Top With Lace Detail

Have I told you how much I hate ironing? Well. I do. Like I do everything imaginable not to iron. So when I purchase a top, the iron/not-to-iron factor always weighs in on my decision. But when I stumbled upon this blouse, I fell in love with the lace detail, and my ironing factor went straight out the window. (And did I mention I got this on super sale?!)

I love the cream color, and the silk is ridiculously soft. The stretchy cotton sleeves were an added bonus … I hate when silk sleeves get those horrible elbow wrinkles. I’m not a huge lace person, but this detail was so feminine and the little keyhole back was a sweet touch.

Pair it with some great jeans – and voila! Easy outfit for work 🙂 You’ve got to love that!
