I’ve almost survived my busy season at work…only a couple more weeks to go. I think I can. I think I can. I think I can. While working non-stop, I can’t tell you how much I’ve had these jeans and booties on repeat. I purchased them during the Nordstrom sale during the summer, and they were definitely A+ purchases.
I didn’t realize how much in my closet goes with this dark gray color of the Vince Camuto Karinta block heeled bootie. And since I’ve worn them so much, I can tell you with confidence that these are actually comfortable. They have a good amount of padding in the ball of the foot and with the thick block heel, I don’t have any heel pain at the end of the day (I tend to put my weight in my heels).
AG is one of my favorite brands, so I knew I would love these jeans. I have to say I listened to a blogger who tried them on and said to size up, and I probably should have ordered my typical size. Granted, yes, they are super skinny jeans and are snug when you first put them on, but they do stretch out while you wear them. I love the distressed hem on these…it’s even subtle enough for my casual office.
What’s also great about this post? These two items are on sale back to what they were during the Nordstrom sale this summer! So maybe it’s good I waited to share this post with you anyway 🙂 Happy shopping!
This weather has been unreal lately! I’m not complaining about not having to wear a heavy winter coat or gloves or hat or snow boots…BUT…we had an awfully hot summer, so I’m looking forward to wearing sweaters! Mother Nature has been teasing us. But I welcomed the tease to wear this pretty burnt orange cowl neck sweater from The Limited.
I can’t tell you how many great sweaters I have hanging in my closet that are begging to be worn. Luckily this one is slightly thinner, so I won’t burn up in the 65 degree weather. Also love how it is longer so I can wear leggings and not feel like my booty is exposed at work.
I have to give a shout out to these boots. They were one of my first pairs I purchased five years ago. They have been worn countless times…I love their slouch and low heel that makes them so comfortable. Enzo Angiolini did a great job designing these.
If you have followed my blog at all, y’all know I love dresses. I have a ton for spring and summer, but not as many for fall and winter. I saw this dress at the Gap, and knew I could wear this so many different ways! So I’ll show you three simple ways I wore it:
First, just by itself with boots. Sometimes plain is the way to go.
Second, add a scarf. A simple addition can give it a whole new look!
Last but not least, add a jacket. Oftentimes I forget about my denim jacket! Silly me, I know. 🙂
