We just got back from spring break – and we went on another Disney cruise. As always, it was fantastic. Of course I loved dressing up every night too! I’m sure you are all shocked. 😉
When I spotted this off-the-shoulder dress at Banana, I fell in love. It stays in place, which is key with an off-the-shoulder. It didn’t rise up once and I didn’t have to mess with it at all. With the hidden inside zipper, it does a great job of accentuating the waist line. Overall, it is such a fun dress! Like always, Banana had it on sale, so I got it for 50% off – score!
And here’s my not-so-little princess with the real princess, Cinderella. We had fun taking our pictures with all of the characters!
On the girl – Lilly Pulitzer (last season on super sale)
On my old blog, I had done posts on what I wore on the Disney cruises I had been on. In 2012, we went on a 7-day to the Eastern Caribbean, and in 2013, we went on the 7-day to the Western Caribbean (both on the Disney Fantasy). My coworker is headed on her first Disney cruise next month, and as I was sitting down with her giving her cruise pointers, we talked about what to wear for dinners. It fascinates me all of the different types of fashion you see while cruising. On formal night you see everything from full length sequin dresses to jeans. It’s so fun to people watch.
So if you are planning a cruise for your upcoming spring break or even this summer, here’s what I wore on my last two cruises.
First Day on the Ship
“Cruise Casual” Dinners
Eating in Remy’s and Palo
Excursions and Going on the Islands
Now, I love to dress up, hence all of the dresses. If I have the chance to put on something pretty and feel fancy, for sure I’m going to do it. To each her own when it comes to cruise attire, but this is what I wore on the last two.
Putting these together really makes me feel the urge to get a spray tan… 🙂
