If you’ve followed my blog at all, you can probably guess what brand this dress is…yep! Ted Baker London. He’s my fav. I’ve actually had this dress for a year, and I finally cut the tags off for my annual work party. It’s a chance for all of us to get dressed up and have fun for the night.
Body con dresses are one of my favorite cuts, second to the fit and flare. And cobalt blue – definitely one of my favorite colors. The mesh detail at the top gives it just the little detail it needed.
I’ve also had these Michael Kors shoes forever. I tried on a few different pairs, not sure if I wanted to do a leopard print instead. The black won out, obviously. Some silver jewelry – and voila! I was ready to go. Of course I got some makeup eye color suggestions from my cousin because she’s the best makeup artist around 🙂
If you read the blog on Monday, you saw I got a great deal on a Ted Baker maxi dress. Guess what? I got another great deal on a Ted Baker Canna midi dress. I’m sure you’re shocked I added another dress to my collection 🙂
I workout hard. And I wanted a dress to show off my hard work in the gym – and my latest obsession with Xbox Kinect Just Dance. But, I digress. I knew when I ordered this dress that it would fit like a glove. And I was right. And I love the belt. I think it makes this dress.
Who doesn’t love to feel good when they get dressed up for a nice dinner out?!? Not this girl. I ❤ getting dressed up.
Dress – Ted Baker Canna cross over neck dress; Earrings and Bracelet – Stella & Dot; Shoes – Charles by Charles David
Also, if you’re looking for a great getaway, I can’t recommend enough The Inn at Half Mile Farm in The Highlands, NC. You see the Inn in the background of these pictures. It’s so peaceful and relaxing…and has wonderful breakfasts and free appetizers and wine EVERY night at 5:30. Delish!
