Hello! Thought I would capture some of my latest dressing room shopping excursions. I love trying on clothes…but that’s probably obvious by how much I love to shop 🙂
First stop was Poppy’s of Atlanta in Buckhead. They never disappoint in the cute dress department! This first Jude Connally fit and flare fit like a dream (similar but different fabric). His fabrics are amazing and travel so well. If y’all remember, I loathe ironing.
Next, Annie Griffin’s Hudson Maxi in the Mykonos pattern. They were having a trunk show that day, and I was drooling over all of the great patterns. And who doesn’t love a good maxi?! I couldn’t believe how long this was, as I’m just a little shy of 5’8″!
Up next, Bloomingdale’s at Lenox Square Mall. Their Ted Baker section is huge. It was hard not to grab everything to try on. Darn you, Ted, and your fabulous new prints. But here’s what I took with me to the dressing room. These first two were Bloomingdale’s exclusive pieces. I love the shirt’s pattern. And a hot pink skirt – how fun!
I saw this skirt online. I thought the jeweled pattern was fun. The best detail is the zipper going up the entire back of the skirt. It has a great stretch to it as well. The cami ran a little small, but I love the fabric and neckline.
This dress was calling my name! The style. The pattern. The print. The adorable tulip hem on the side. The pockets. Ted knocked this one out of the park.
The knit dress was so comfortable. And it literally felt like it was made for me. And I loved the midi length.
For fun, I tried on this cute Clover Canyon two piece outfit. Just because I’m a mommy doesn’t mean I can’t at least try on this trend. I really wanted to see how my stomach looked in the crop top. I didn’t think it looked too bad! (Can’t find this anywhere online – it must be a Bloomie’s exclusive.)
And last but not least, Anthropologie. Love walking around that store. I have to say, remember to look under the tables! So many things are hiding under there! These adorable shorts caught my eye. I’m a sucker for a cute pattern. This tank was really soft and I loved the little pocket.
I’m always on the hunt for dresses that I can wear to work. This one had a higher neckline and great length. The bottom part is a great jersey fabric that is ridiculously comfortable.
This was the second time I tried this stripe dress on. It’s a stiffer fabric, but it’s so freakin’ cute! I had to size up and wanted to see how it fit again.
So…what do you think I bought? And if you say everything … wrong answer 🙂
